Ok, lets get down to the nitty gritty details. First lets look at the PSU cutout, nothing special here, nor anything wrong with it, so lets move on. The ATX cutout has all the spots you would expect to see on an ATX-compliant case, including a cutout for onboard LAN. There are also two cutouts for an extra serial port in either 9 or 25 pin layouts, although I find these unnecessary, some of you using legacy devices may need them and hence they are a welcome addition, considering the likely demographic target for the case.

The case features 6 blanking plates which are not re-usable once removed however it ships with two screw-in spares. The plates are easily removed - stick a flathead screwdrived into the end of them (they have a cutout for this purpose) and bend away from the cutout. Works a charm and is much easier than removing the blanking plates from my DTK or from the various TASK cases.

The two sets of grilles at the bottom of the case look to be a bit of a nuisance to me, if the case ends up with negative airflow, (more air going out than coming in) then these holes could possibly be a source of ingoing airflow to help balance the flow, and being low to the ground could suck air and dust directly in onto the motherboard and past the flow of air from the CPU cooler, drawing it onto the motherboard or the heatsink. I would suggest anyone attempting to get good airflow with this case cover the holes on the inside with gaffa or duct tape (hey, it isn't as ghetto if it is unseen :D)

As I said earlier, it would have been nicer to see a 120mm fan mount in place of the two 60mm mounts and the AT cutout, however I will examine the 60mm holes as is. They have recessed screw holes so you don't have to worry about your mounting screws snagging any clothing/pets/cables or other objects. The main problem with them are the grilles - factory punched and very small and inefficient. If I were to mod this case I would be cutting out the current holes and replacing them with 2x 60mm chrome fan grilles (for safety reasons).

Next up, the front of the case.
