The Finished Result

Immediately after putting the case side back on my computer I realised something was wrong - the thumb screws were giving me significant difficulty in screwing them in - usually it's just a case of line them up in the hole and give them a spin and they are in, or out as the case may be. When I looked closer I realised that the moulding on the window was thick enough as to cause the case side to bend out as it went past the case's crossbeam (shown near the top of the window) and this caused it to be difficult to put the case side on and to put the thumbscrews in.

The case I am using is a DTK case, just in case you cannot tell from the photo, and the front fan is a Globalwin CAF-12 Case cooler. The lack of one screw and the angle the fan is mounted in the window is FAR more obvious than the scratch I made or the error in my mental calculations when cutting the moulding. Casting these two garing faults away the case now looks SWEET and look at that chrome shine :)

Time for me to crank up the air compressor and to clean out that dust, I say.

Soon to come will also be the addition of a clear bladed fan on the case side so as to increase visibilty to the innards of the case. Also to note I cannot show you the window with case lighting as my Neon from Autobarn unfortunately died an untimely death (possibly due to unharnessed travel). I will update the site with photos as more is added to the case.
