Windows 98

Windows 98 gets a tiny bit different...

 

This shot shows us that the Realtek works the same in 98 as per 2K and XP at default:

 

The following picture just proves we can even change the MAC in Windows 98 with our Realtek card:

 

Sadly we had a little trouble in Windows 98 with our trusty Tulip...no option there:

I believe there is a registry hack you can do which involves something along the lines of going to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\{unique id of NIC}\parameters\ and adding a string value "NetworkAddress" with the MAC address you want contained therein. After a reboot your new MAC should be cruisin... Regedit.com is your friend.
